31 January 2009 Mackenzie Summer Salmon & Wine Festival
11am - 5pm @ the Twizel Events Centre, Twizel, South Island
There will be a celebrity chef and live music with salmon cooking demonstrations and other stall holders offering salmon delicacies and local wines.

24 & 25 January 2009 Stars under the Stars @ Mills Reef in Tauranga

15 February 2009 Simply Red at Villa Maria Estate
The second 'Day on the Green' event at this stunning winery, Simply Red will revisit 25years of their hits with supporting acts Hollie Smith and Nathan King. Held amongst the vines, concert-goers can sip on Villa Maria wines. Strictly no BYO alcohol. 30-31 January 2009 Central Otago Pinot Celebration 2009
Queenstown and surrounds
The seventh celebration of Central Otago Pinot Noir with invited guests including Jancis Robinson MW. A mix of formal and informal events including grand tastings of the region's illustrious reds. Prices range from $950 to $1100 for the full event with an $85 entry fee for the master class only.

6-8 February 2009 Waiheke Wine Festival
At Isola Estate, Onetangi Road, Waiheke
The event kicks off on Waitangi Day with a sumptuous Long Lunch from 11.30am – 3.00pm. This is a special 6 course degustation style menu, served undercover and matched with local wines.
Saturday is the Waiheke Wine Festival from 11.00am – 6.30pm where you can sample and buy some of the best wines produced on the island, matched with delicious local food accompanied by some great music on the 2 entertainment stages.
Sunday from 11.00am – 3.00pm offers the chance to relax with some soulful jazz at the Sunday Brunch.

The 25th Anniversary Festival promises highly acclaimed wines of the region, culinary delights from local chefs and a line-up of New Zealand’s leading performers including The Black Seeds as the major act.

15 March 2009 Tauranga Boutique Wine and Food Festival
12 noon to 6pm. Wharepai Domain, Cameron Road, Tauranga
The cream of Tauranga’s hospitality industry will be providing a delicious array of food while high profile wineries will provide a full selection of wines to tempt the palate.
21 March 2009 Wairarapa Wines Harvest Festival
at the Cliffs Riverside Reserve, Dakins Road, between Masterton and Carterton
From 11am to 6pm, twenty-four exhibitors representing 16 Wairarapa wineries and 8 restaurants, will showcase their products with entertainment a critical part of the mix.

21 March 2009 Gibbston Harvest Festival
From 11am to 4pm @ 'The Wine House & Kitchen', SH6, Gibbston Valley, Central Otago.   A relaxed and fun afternoon for the whole family - entertainment, games for the kids, food and wine with 18 local wineries and 15 local restaurants.

28-29 March 2009 Auckland Wine and Food Festival
at Viaduct Harbour, Eastern Viaduct, Auckland City from 10am to 6pm both days.
Entry fee of $20 per adult will include entry, a tasting glass, free eco bag for 5000 visitors (the first 2500 each day), free tastings from selected exhibitors and a full day's musical entertainment as well as food demonstrations.
